Cooking Mama anyone?;D I find Gameloft's approach very interesting. First they release a game in a specific category that is clearly a clone of a certain game, then the company that has the original game gives Gameloft the license, another game built on the same engine is being released and the first, unlicensed one, mysteriously disappears! That was the case with Special Crime Unit: Blood On Campus (a game that i think Gameloft should re-release, but probably CBS won't be too happy about that).
Once Gameloft got their hands on the license by proving to CBS they can make a really good mystery game, that game was gone forever the second CSI: Miami was released. Luckily, i got my hands on Blood On Campus from my local operator (or Gameloft Connect, i can't remember exactly) before they took it down. That being said, i wouldn't be surprised if we would see more cloned DS titles soon (Meteos is a perfect example of this). And as touch-screen mobile phones become more mainstream, these DS clones will multiply and after all, it makes perfect sense.
